Hello, my GHRUA friends. Have you given any attention to the subjects we will cover in the second semester over this extended break? In this blog, We'll be discussing those topics together with marking schemes today. Take a closer look at each subject and its marking system, so get your pen and notebook ready.
1. ICDE:- Integral Calculus & Differential Equations
The theory and applications of integrals are the focus of the calculus branch known as integral calculus. Integral calculus deals with overall size or value, such as lengths, areas, and volumes, whereas differential calculus concentrates on rates of change, such as the slopes of tangent lines and velocities.
Why learn Integral Calculus and Differential Equations? & what's the use of it??
A subfield of mathematics is calculus. It investigates the speed of change. It is frequently utilized in computer security, game development, scientific computing, computer graphics, and problem-solving applications.
The study of continuous change and its rate of occurrence is known as calculus. It is utilized in many different computer science domains, such as designing and analyzing algorithms, coding in applications, making graphs or graphics, simulations, and problem-solving apps.
Calculus comes in two flavors: differential calculus and integral calculus.
When combined, these fields make it easier to calculate the rate of change, a crucial component of many algorithms and software systems.
In particular, differential equations are crucial. A differential equation determines the rate and direction of change, therefore a computer can predict future outputs.

2. LAS:- Linear Algebra & Statistics
Why learn Linear Algebra and statistics? & what's the use of it??
Linear Algebra:
You use technologies that expand upon linear algebra when you snap digital photos with your phone, edit the photos in Photoshop, play video games, view movies with digital effects, browse the web, or make phone calls.
Many computer science fields, such as graphics, image processing, cryptography, machine learning, computer vision, optimization, graph algorithms, quantum computing, computational biology, information retrieval, and online search, rely on the ideas of linear algebra. On top of that, two fundamental components of linear algebra are the matrix and the vector.
Statistics:
This area of mathematics finds applications in image analysis, data mining, data compression, and artificial intelligence. Particularly helpful are statistics in speech recognition programs, such as Apple's Siri. Siri records the frequencies and sound waves of your speech and converts them into a code after receiving your request. After that, Siri decodes the text to find certain patterns, words, and phrases. Programs like Google Translate, which employs data to carry out online translations, are likewise supported by statistics. Computers can quickly process vast volumes of data thanks to statistics. You can give statistics credit for transforming computer use!

4. DLD:- Digital Logic Design
An essential topic in computer science, electrical engineering, and electronic engineering is digital logic design (DLD). It entails researching the development and application of digital circuits and systems. The DLD system generates input and output processes using basic numerical values. It is employed in the development of hardware, including microchip processors and circuit boards.
Why learn Digital Logic Design? & what's the use of it??
Digital logic is used to verify computer chips and to build circuits and logic gates. It is also the use of numbers to represent the signals and sequences of a digital circuit. Applications in robots, computers, and other electronics are made easier by digital logic. Visual communication that provides people with information on an electronic device is referred to as digital design.

5. CFT:- Computer Fundamentals & Troubleshooting
The principles of using digital devices, including computers, smartphones, and tablets, are referred to as computer fundamentals. The term "computer" was formerly limited to the fundamentals of operating a computer and related devices, but it has subsequently grown to encompass the majority of digital gadgets. "Fundamentals" describes the fundamentals or all-around abilities one needs to use and navigate these gadgets.
Why Do Students Need to Study Computer Fundamentals?
Students should learn computer fundamentals since it will equip them with the abilities they need for both their education and future employment. In our increasingly digital environment, a working knowledge of computer fundamentals is becoming increasingly important. Students can advance more quickly in their education and get ready for daily duties and occupations in the future when they have the skills and knowledge to use digital tools successfully.

6. IoT Programming - Internet of Things Programming (Vocational)
Given that the Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of interconnected computing devices with unique IDs and the capacity to transport data, programming for the IoT is typically a polyglot (many languages) endeavor. The device's capabilities and intended use determine the programming language to use. Cloud servers, gateways, edge devices, and other types of devices are all included in the Internet of Things.
In descending order of popularity, the most widely used languages in the Internet of Things are Java, C, C++, Python, Javascript, Node.js, Assembler, PHP, C#, Lua, R, Go, Ruby, Swift, and Rust. This is based on a 2017 online poll that 713 people took part in, which was co-sponsored by the Eclipse IoT Working Group, IEEE IoT, AGILE IoT, and IoT Council.
Why Do Students Need to Study IoT Programming?
A multidisciplinary program housed under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is the Internet of Things. Machine learning algorithms are used by Internet of Things apps to evaluate vast volumes of cloud-based connected sensor data.
Data science is centered on Internet of Things applications. Improved tracking, monitoring, prediction, administration, and control of diverse systems across multiple industries are made possible by IoT data.
Both the public and private sectors can employ the Internet of Things in a wide range of daily activities. People can track things like lost pets, home security systems, and appliance maintenance schedules thanks to the Internet of Things.
People can live and work smarter thanks to IoT. For instance, consumers can use IoT-embedded products to enhance their lifestyles, such as thermostats, smartwatches, and automobiles. For instance, a person's car could talk to the garage to open the door when they get home, their thermostat could be programmed to a certain temperature, and their lighting might be adjusted to a softer hue and intensity.

7. IKS:- Indian Knowledge System
An effective method for passing down knowledge from one generation to the next is the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). Vedic literature, such as the Upanishads, Vedas, and Upvedas, serves as its foundation. The IKS was founded in 2020 at AICTE, New Delhi, as an innovative cell under the Ministry of Education.
The IKS seeks to assist research aimed at resolving modern societal problems. It aims to support students in strengthening their analytical abilities and taking a multifaceted approach to challenges. Researching IKS can also encourage multidisciplinary studies.
Why Do Students Need to Study the Indian Knowledge System?
We need to restore the extensive knowledge base of our ancestry and teach the rest of the world the "Indian way" of doing things. To do this, generations of scholars must be trained to illustrate and represent to the rest of the world a way of life that is so distinctive from the rest of our great civilization.
To solve the societal issues of the present, IKS encourages and facilitates more study in a number of fields, such as holistic health, psychology, neuroscience, nature, the environment, and sustainable development.

8. LLC-2:- Liberal Learning Course 2
Literature, Culture, and Life are all included in Liberal Learning Courses (LLC). Throughout the curriculum, they are intended to be taken concurrently by students.
A liberal education is a method of undergraduate study that tries to increase students' knowledge and sharpen their critical thinking abilities. Its goal is to give pupils a broad intellectual foundation through the study of analytical problems, human civilizations, and the scientific and physical sciences.
Why Do Students Need to Study Liberal Learning Course 2?
A liberal studies education is an endeavor to broaden one's perspective on the world. Students studying liberal studies are exposed to a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and society through the methodical and measured study of psychology, language, culture, and other fields.
A vast range of topics are covered in liberal studies, such as physics, philosophy, history, literature, and the humanities. Students enrolled in liberal studies programs gain the knowledge and abilities necessary to become critical and imaginative researchers, thinkers, and communicators in practically any discipline.
